Weekend Update No. 11

This little bedhead makes getting up at 6 am every day a little easier.

Amelie is my favorite movie but when faced with the day's greatest existential question I must be loyal to my family.

Thank you everybody for your kind well-wishes. Elian is one in a million, I couldn't be any luckier.

We spent the weekend with my Grandma. She and Elian have developed a special bond which involves a lot of laughing and tupperware.

Wassup?

My baby is growing up too fast. In his new shoes I swear his feet are almost as big as mine.

Check mate!

Forget about Chess, this kid could've ended the cold war with his smile.

Weekend Update No. 9

Land Park is an awesome neighborhood to live in. I submit the "Easter Egg" tree as supporting evidence.

Nutella would like everyone to know that she still exists and is indignant that her title as the cutest/noisiest one in the house has been usurped.

Elian helps out Tio Marcos around the yard! I love the size differential.

Bedtime is serious business. Bottle. Ck. Triceratops. Ck. Papa. Ck!

Weekend Update No. 8

Start the weekend off right: With Pinkberry at 10 pm on friday. Livin la vida loca!

Picnic Day! I go to Davis often but almost never to the campus. It was surreal to walk around my old stopping grounds with my husband and son.

Met with some friends to enlist their help with a Forty X Forty Project.

We hung at Elian's godparents house. According to Elian it was awe-inspiring.

That's one weird looking horse.

Weekend Update No. 7

Elian triumphantly and messily tried out using a spoon on his own.

Baby Steps: I've switched from eating bread with butter to veggies with butter. This apparently even makes radishes delectable.

We hit 2nd Saturday and the Hive. Arnold and the girls are doing their best hipster imitation.

Salty Caramel Cupcakes at Ginger Elizabeth's. I can't lie to you, it changed my life.

Dogwood tree is so beautiful that I cannot believe that it's in my backyard.
