List Love Book Club: Child’s Play

Each Week ElleinadspirA Place to Share and I will be working our way through the Listography 2011 Book with a rotating Link Part-tay! To find the list of the years topics, check out the Listography Link above.

Today’s Topic: List memorable activities from your childhood

Small, but still Notorious.

This list is easy-peasy. As an adult I enjoy almost the same exact activities I did as a child.

  1. Eating. Duh.
  2. Making Lists-Not kidding on this one.
  3. Rearranging furniture.
  4. Dancing.
  5. Reading. Reading. More reading.

Reflecting on the fact that my current interests are very similar to my childhood interests make me think about my own son. At what point will his interests cease to be developmental whims and turn into full-blown personality characteristics?

I’m very curious to know if your childhood interests were different than your current loves. I’ve got the link!

  1. 1. Making Barbie a creative dream house out of record jacks and Styrofoam box packing stuff, ‘cuz I never got the plastic dream house AND it was really fun. I think you might have called it decorating on a budget.
    2. Sports: Softball, BASKETBALL, Volleyball, cross country (ugh)
    3. Dressing my cat up and taking pictures of her.
    4. Make-up artist or professional hair stylist.
